Scattered strong storms are possible across parts of northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas early today, with more severe weather expected late tonight into early Wednesday. The primary threats include damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall, followed by lingering storm chances into Wednesday afternoon. After midweek, a stretch of hot, humid weather takes over with rising heat index values continuing into the weekend.
